Conservación de datos de salud

Los datos de salud de los pacientes se conservarán con el máximo nivel de confidencialidad y seguridad, cumpliendo con la normativa vigente en materia de protección de datos. Estos datos se mantendrán durante los siguientes plazos:
- Datos de la historia clínica: Según el Artículo 17.1 de la Ley 41/2002, se conservarán durante un mínimo de cinco años desde el alta de cada proceso asistencial. Los datos relacionados con el nacimiento del paciente no se destruirán y se trasladarán a los archivos definitivos de la Administración correspondiente una vez conocido el fallecimiento del paciente.
- Datos específicos según el Decreto 178/2005:
- Mínimo 5 años: Hoja clínico-estadística, hoja del recién nacido en la historia clínica de la madre, hoja de solicitud de interconsulta y pruebas complementarias (siempre que no contenga el resultado de la prueba), hoja de controles y cuidados específicos de enfermería, gráficas de constantes, hoja de urgencias, radiografías y otros documentos iconográficos, conservando los informes, hojas de anamnesis y de exploración física y las hojas de evolución de los episodios asistenciales de los que exista informe de alta.
- Mínimo 20 años: Hoja de autorización de ingreso, hoja de consentimiento informado, hoja quirúrgica, hoja de órdenes médicas, hoja de control de medicación, hoja de parto, hoja del recién nacido de su propia historia clínica, hoja de anestesia, hoja de transfusión, informes de exploraciones complementarias, hoja de alta voluntaria, informes de anatomía patológica, informes de necropsias, y otros documentos citados en el referido texto.
- Conservación definitiva: Informes clínicos de alta, hojas de anamnesis y exploración física, y hojas de evolución de los episodios asistenciales de los que no exista informe de alta.
